This Is Halloween!

Add a little festive fright to dinnertime!  Pull apart Mozzerella String Cheese and arrange in a spider web pattern on your favorite pizza.  If you're feeling extra spooky, use the petite pairing knife to make spiders out of black olives!

1 box (14 ounces) pumpkin quick bread mix (plus ingredients to make bread)

1 cup prepared vanilla frosting   Yellow and red liquid food color  

 Red, black or purple string or pull apart licorice

48   chocolate-covered raisins, small black jelly beans or semi-sweet chocolate morsels


1. Preheat oven to 325°F. Spray cups of Deluxe Mini-Muffin Pan and Mini-Bakerwith canola oil using Kitchen Spritzer.

2.  In Classic Batter Bowl, prepare mix according to package directions for bread using Bamboo Spoon. 
3.  Using Small Scoop, fill each Mini-Muffin cup with 1 scoop of batter. Spread remaining batter into Mini-Baker using Classic Scraper. 
4.  Bake muffins 13-15 minutes and bread 25-30 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in centers come out clean. Using Oven Mitts, remove to Stackable Cooling Rack. Cool muffins and bread 15 minutes each. Remove from pan and Baker. Cool completely. 
5.  Attach Round Tip to Easy Accent® Decorator and fill tube with 1/3 cup frosting. Place bread on serving tray. Squeeze out frosting to make a spider web design. 
6.  Squeeze out frosting left in decorator and add to remaining 2/3 cup of frosting. Use food colors to color frosting orange (see Cook's Tip). Attach Open Star Tipto decorator and fill tube with frosting. Swirl frosting over tops of muffins. UsingProfessional Shears, cut licorice into 2-inch pieces. For each spider, press 8 licorice pieces into frosting for legs; add 2 raisins for eyes. Arrange spiders on serving tray around web.

Cook's Tips:

To make frosting orange, use about twice as many drops of yellow color as red and stir thoroughly. Paste food colors can be used. Cooking truly is an art!
